TEHRAN -- "For the first time in the country, and due to preservation of land and control of wood smuggling as well as forest illegal contrabands, Gilan Provinces's Natural Resources Department General inked a cooperation agreement with IRGC's Basij Resistance Forces," said Abdollah Tavakkoli, Gilan Province's Department General of Natural Resources.

Pointing to decreasing 80 percent wood smuggling with initiation of IRGC's Basij Resistance Forces in this respect, he further mentioned that due to installing nightly patrol for preservation of natural resources, it has caused tightening the arena for smugglers of wood.
